方家小館 (Fang's Restaurant)

星期六,好友生日。
一行十三人到位於萬錦廣場的方家小館晚餐。
很久之前已經聽過方家小館的名字。
但種種原因,到現在才是我第一次的“拜訪”。

一進去的感覺很舒服,覺得地方很新,很整齊。
(儘管它已開了幾年了)
聽說它與萬錦的鼎泰豐是同一個老闆開的。
但這家鼎泰豐跟台北的那一家卻應該是沒關係的。

訂了一個小包廂。

首先上來的是雜錦拼盤,
上面有紹興醉雞、鎮江肉、五香牛肉、滷豬舌頭等冷盤。不錯!

然後來三籠熱騰騰的小籠包。
方家的小籠包是我看過的數一數二的多肉汁。
薄薄的皮下,包著一湯匙的肉汁,怕肥的就免問了!

生菜蝦鬆,一片生菜包著滿滿的蝦鬆,還有一些炸香脆。
咬起來有蝦的彈牙,有香脆的香,也有生菜的清爽。

芋茸香酥鴨看起來一點都不像鴨,比較像是兩個大金蛋被切成一塊塊。

味道不錯;芋頭跟鴨本來就很搭配。粉芋頭吸收大肥鴨的油,剛剛好。

一道走油元蹄一上桌就引起了大家的注意。
兩個大豬蹄,燜得很軟,外面的皮油亮亮的。
味道卻一般。

松鼠星斑看起來是很多人的最愛。

外表十分討好。橘紅的甜酸醬加上雜果,好開胃!

醬爆溫哥華蟹一大碟,卻因為麻煩吃,很少人問津。
(除了Kelvin伉儷以外) 吃了一塊,覺得還好。

砂鍋醃篤鮮是我最期待的。
因為上一次在大上海的實在是太太太好吃/喝了。
砂鍋一上桌,每人一碗,
一看,看到那五花肉好像不太對板。
一喝,喝得淡而無味。
一吃,那筍子一點都不鮮。
天啊!我想這道湯是方家的一大敗筆。

百頁豆苗剛好清清胃口。豆苗有點老。

銀耳蓮子湯甜甜,覺得好滋潤,學Angela講: 好幸福喔!
一塊一塊方形的豆沙鍋餅,有點飽,沒有吃。

埋單每人加幣三十二(港幣兩百塊)。OK啦。
但老實說,我應該不會再去。

    behind the fridge

    have been thinking of having my own blog page for a long time. since 99, i've been writing, posting, changing my icq info. sometimes, i stopped because i didn't feel like writing. anyhow, here i am again, blogging here instead of on info. hopefully i can keep up because this is a little sketch book of my daily life. maybe, somewhere, somehow, someone might come across this and realize that we are not alone.
